Assignment:  Choose one decade from the following:  1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.  Include the following information in your presentation AT A MINIMUM:

Important events:  Examples:  Wars, Presidential elections, Olympics, Woodstock, 9/11

Important people:  John F. Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Ronald Reagan, Elvis Pressley, Barack Obama

Popular culture:  Popular songs, movies, slogans, actors/actresses, tv shows, dances, how people dressed, catch phrases

Inventions:  Computers, cell phones, hair dryers, color television
